Locate the 4 screws on the side that holds the face on the radio. Remove the top screw on each side. Loosen the bottom screw on each side, so the front can slide forward and hinge forward. Locate the Printed Circuit board that stand up on the radio behind the face, you will see the memory battery on this board. As per the picture below remove the surface mount resistor. Re-assemble radio, being careful that you don't pinch any wires. Reset the CPU by holding down the A=B button and turning on the power.
